The Mac I run calibre on is about ten years old and running 10.11, when Amazon gets around to porting to 64-bit, I can imagine it will get left behind. Amazons Kindle for PC is a free e-book software reader and manager for Windows.
App Store description says version is 1.23.2, but what is installed is actually 1.23.3. I installed on another Mac to have a look. I don't see any advantage in updating if you plan to disable KFX anyway.
